By using MyTopRate ("the site"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

What this site does

MyTopRate is a free, informational tool that lets you search for nearby businesses by zip code or device location, and view them sorted by Google rating, review count, or a calculated "Recommended" score. Business names, ratings, review counts, addresses, and hours shown on this site are retrieved live from the Google Places API and are not independently verified, edited, or maintained by us.

No warranty on accuracy

All business information displayed — including ratings, review counts, hours, and addresses — comes directly from Google and reflects Google's data at the moment of your search. We do not guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or timeliness, and we are not responsible for errors or omissions in that data, or for decisions you make based on it. For authoritative information about any business, contact the business directly or check its listing on Google Maps.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to send repeated or bulk requests to this site or the search function beyond normal individual use;
• Attempt to access, probe, or interfere with the site's underlying infrastructure, including the search proxy that connects to Google's services;
• Use the site for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could damage, disable, or impair the site for other users;
• Scrape or systematically extract data from the site for republication or resale.

We reserve the right to limit, throttle, or block access for any use that we determine, in our discretion, is abusive or excessive.

Third-party links and services

This site links out to Google Maps for individual businesses, and may display advertisements served by Google AdSense. We don't control, and aren't responsible for, the content, accuracy, or practices of Google Maps, advertisers, or any other third-party site you reach from a link on MyTopRate. Your use of those third-party services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, not ours.

Advertising

This site may be supported by advertising served through Google AdSense. Displaying an advertisement for a business or service does not imply our endorsement or verification of that business or service.

No liability for business dealings

MyTopRate is a discovery tool only. We are not a party to, and have no responsibility for, any transaction, purchase, appointment, or dealing you have with any business you find through this site.

Limitation of liability

This site is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
